The Governor's Archaeology Advisory Commission (GAAC) is sponsoring it's 33rd annual "Awards in Public Archaeology" and is now soliciting your nominations!
The awards are for outstanding individuals, teams and organizations worthy of recognition in the categories of: Professional Archaeologist, Avocational Archaeologist, Site Steward,Tribe, Private/Nonprofit Organization, Government Agency, For Profit Corporations and Special or Lifetime Achievement. These awards will be presented in conjunction with the 2020 Arizona Historic Preservation Conference, June 16-18, 2020 at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, Tempe Arizona.
