We invite you to invest in cultural resource protection in Arizona by making a donation today!
The Arizona Site Steward Program Foundation supports over 800 Site Steward volunteers monitoring historic and prehistoric sites around the state. Your tax-deductible donation provides much needed funds for online training tools, workshops, conferences, equipment and field instruction for Arizona’s Site Stewards.
The Foundation also supports Preservation Outreach events, educating the public to the importance of site preservation and the role of the Site Stewards Program as well as the annual Site Steward Conference honoring the outstanding efforts of our volunteers.
The Foundation sponsors and serves as the fiscal agent for Arizona Project Archaeology. Developed by Montana State University and the US Bureau of Land Management, Project Archaeology provides a fully developed, interdisciplinary science-based Archaeological curriculum for 3rd-5th graders, in compliance with 2019 Arizona History Standards.
We are honored to list you as a donor on our website! If you would like your donation to be anonymous please email us at asspfoundation@gmail.com.
The Arizona Site Steward Program Foundation is a tax-exempt organization (ID #82-1543349) and your gift is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. If you would like to donate by check please mail it to the address below.

Jesse P. Alexander Bequest
Jesse P. Alexander was found passed away at his home in Flagstaff, Arizona on May 17, 2023. Jesse had worked in the field of environmental archaeology since 2015 and was recently working with Harris Environmental as a Field Director/Project Manager. Jesse’s dedication to his work, quiet and kind nature, cut-to-the-chase commentary, loyalty to friends and family, and strong sense of justice were defining aspects of him that took him far in his 40 years.
In honor of Jesse, the family requests that those who wish to make a memorial contribution in his name donate to Arizona Site Steward Foundation, a foundation safeguarding archaeological and paleontological sites in Arizona.
