Arizona Project Archaeology will host it's first full day Investigating Shelter Workshop for 3-5th Grade History Teachers, Arizona Site Steward Volunteers and Archaeologists on March 21, 2020 at the Pueblo Grande Museum. We will be demonstrating the Project Archaeology curriculum developed by the Montana State University and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
Participants will receive a Investigating Shelter teachers manual detailing active-learning and inquiry-based lessons that are aligned with national standards and Arizona Social Studies Standards. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion for this 8 hour workshop.
Due to an outstanding out-pour of sponsorship this inaugural workshop and the Investigating Shelter book will be free of charge to workshop participants! The registration deadline is March 14, 2020 and we only have 20 seats available. Please visit our Arizona Project Archaeology page in this site to register now!
